The camera pans over to Lawrence, grand wizard of the Order of the Long Knife. He’s already got the pig on the spit. His shirt is off, and his muscles are stark and gleaming as he turns the lever slowly.

If the contestants are lucky, their teams’ caravans will arrive with salt before the tasting. Much is riding on this, but it’s a long way from China.
