Dromond of Frisia

After considerable argument, they head north again. The Gallowglass says he knows a place near the Bannock Burn. He says he can feel it in his bones when the English are about to pull a fast one. Dromond figures anybody who cares to look can see the storm brewing. At least the fighting is pretty good, even if a little heavy on the spear work, which Dromond doesn’t really go in for.

“What a day,” the Gallowglass keeps saying afterwards. “What a day. I tell you we’re free people now.”

It is unclear to Dromond who, exactly, he’s talking about.
